I Didn't Mean to Start a Fad

Since Granny died last Friday, my boss lost his father this past Thursday morning after a long bout with Parkinson's Disease. Then, one of the Library Assistants lost her aunt the same day. I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

Seriously, it does seem like these things occur in clusters sometimes. May we have better days ahead.

In my line of work you tend to expect deaths in threes or sevens. I don't know why, but every time- 3 or 7.

threes, threes, threes. Oh my.

I'm hoping it works for good things, too: got a job interview at a big company, won $72 in the lottery, now I need to get the job!!! *fingers crossed*

God, I hope it stops at 3. I'm wondering if I'm contagious or something.

I've heard that this kind of thing runs through hospitals and nursing himes like an epidemic. Spooky.

Yeah, the good stuff clusters, too, but we focus too much on the bad. :-(

Good luck SQ!!!! Fingers crossed for you.
